Job summary

Qualifications

• BLS Required.
• High School Diploma or equivalent, Preferred.
• Six months of phlebotomy experience, phlebotomy training or national certification as approved by manager/supervisor.

Responsibilities

• Accurately collect patient specimens for diagnostic testing in a professional medical environment.
• Perform venipuncture, capillary puncture, PIVO, and throat swabs across patient populations.
• Adhere to PPE and safety regulations; communicate procedures empathetically to patients and families.
• Support registration, CODE response teams, and training new staff as needed.
• Handle specimen processing and participate in special projects.
