Job summary

Fortrea in Madison, WI is seeking a Clinical Research Technician to interact with healthy volunteers while learning to read clinical protocols in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting. You will participate in various study types and observe safety, tolerability, and pharmacokinetics assessment in Phase 1 trials.

The role requires a high school diploma (EMT/Phlebotomy/CMA/CNA preferred) and 0–1 year of related experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• EMT, Phlebotomy, CMA or CNA certification preferred.
• 0–1 year of related experience.

Responsibilities

• Accurately perform blood pressure, venipuncture, weights, pulse, respiratory rate, and temperature readings.
• Preparation and accurate recording of ECGs/Holters.
• Collection and processing of biological samples as specified in the protocol.
• Monitors meals to ensure dietary compliance by research participants.
• Assist in the preparation of rooms and medical equipment.
• Assist with screening procedures as needed.
• Maintain a clean, safe and efficient working and study environment.
• Other duties as assigned.
