Job summary

Gundersen Health System seeks a Perioperative Technician for the GI Center in La Crosse, Wisconsin. You will help prepare patients for procedures, assist clinicians, start IVs, restock and collect specimens for lab analysis.

The role is casual, on-call with 8-hour days, and excludes weekends and holidays. Starting pay is $19.05 per hour with potential for higher pay with experience; benefits and growth opportunities are available within a major healthcare network.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalency.
• Wisconsin Registered Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA).
• 1 year of work experience working in a health care setting.
• Current Infant-Adult Basic Life Support for Health Care Providers (with hands on learning) from one of the following programs; American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
