Job summary

Gundersen Health System in La Crosse, WI is seeking a Perioperative Technician for our Injection Clinic. You will assist with procedures, set up IVs, prep rooms, stock supplies, and help patients throughout their procedure.

This role is 0.9 FTE with 72 hours bi-weekly and eight-hour days, no weekends or holidays. Requirements include a High School Diploma or equivalency, Wisconsin CNA certification, and at least 1 year in healthcare with six months as a CNA; BLS certification is required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Wisconsin Registered CNA certification required.
• Minimum 1 year healthcare experience; six months CNA experience preferred.
• Current Infant-Adult Basic Life Support for Health Care Providers required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with procedures and setup in the Injection Clinic.
• Prepare room, stock supplies, and maintain sterile technique.
• Support patients throughout their procedure and recovery.
