Qualifications

• Responsible for the safe, timely and accurate transport of patients and equipment.
• Properly and safely transports patients using wheelchairs and other approved rolling stock.
• Demonstrates competency across age groups in patient transport.
• Communicates effectively with nursing staff and dispatch.

Responsibilities

• Transport patients and equipment safely to destinations.
• Use approved rolling stock for patient transport.
• Maintain patient comfort and privacy during transport.
• Report equipment issues to the appropriate team.
