Job summary

Draper and Kramer in Chicago seeks a Door Staff member for its Gold Coast properties. This on-call role requires greeting residents, owners, vendors and guests while maintaining a high level of customer service.

You will open doors, carry bags, receive packages, coordinate move-ins/outs, log activities, and answer inquiries. Flexibility to work 7 days a week across 1st-3rd shifts is required; strong written and verbal communication is essential.

Job description

Draper and Kramer is a family owned company with over 130 years of experience providing vertically integrated property and financial services throughout the United States. Specifically, our services include multi-family residential and commercial property management, acquisition, development, debt and equity commercial financing.

The Door Staff reports directly to the Property Manager. While specific responsibilities will vary based on location, the doorperson will be responsible for greeting residents, owners, vendors, and guests, and ensuring that a high level of customer service is maintained at all times. The ability to multi-task and be adaptive to changing responsibilities while keeping a positive attitude are crucial. Strong communication and organizational skills are also key. This position is located in the Gold Coast neighborhood in Chicago.

Schedule

• This is an on-call position
• Must be available/flexible 7 days/week, 1 st , 2 nd , and 3 rd shifts
• Schedules are shared one month in advance

Responsibilities

• Greet owners, residents, guests, and vendors
• Keep detailed logs of activity during a work shift
• Open doors, carry bags, receive packages, hail taxis, answer inquiries, coordinate move-ins/outs, coordinate guest or vendor sign-in
