Job summary

Omni Fort Worth Hotel is seeking a dedicated maintenance painter to join our team. Your role will include painting public areas and guest rooms, keeping the hotel decor in good condition, and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety.

You will work flexible shifts, including weekends. Strong communication in English, physical stamina, and at least 1 year of commercial painting experience are required to ensure exceptional guest experiences in a premier downtown property.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of commercial painting experience.
• Ability to work interior and exterior spaces with paints and plaster.
• Strong communication in English, verbal and written.
• Good time management and attention to detail.
• Frequent lifting up to 50 lbs and ability to stand/walk for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Maintains (paint, wallpaper, plaster, etc.) all public areas and guest rooms on an on-going basis.
• Keep the hotel decor in good condition.
• Clean all work areas after completing job.
• Fill out Daily Work form.
• Have a thorough understanding of Omni's fire alarm procedures and other emergencies.
• Have a thorough understanding of Omni Hotel rules and regulations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year commercial painting experience required. Vinyl wall covering experience preferred.
• Ability to work in the interior and exterior of the hotel and work with paints, plaster and other painting materials, performing inspections and making painting repairs.
• Ability to clearly and pleasantly communicate both verbally and in writing in English with guests, management and co-workers.
• Candidate must have excellent time management skills, the ability to work with both internal and external customers and a keen eye for detail
• Must be able to handle frequent lifting, pushing, pulling and carrying of objects weighing up to 50 lbs without assistance.
• Stand or walk for extended periods of time or for an entire shift.
• Frequent bending and/or kneeling required.
• 100% of mobility required in all areas of hotel property and ground.
• Must be able to climb a ladder, work in high places and confined areas.
• Must be able to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays
