Job summary

Kamehameha Schools Hawaii Campus seeks an Operations Utility Worker (Temporary, On-Call) to support custodial, groundskeeping and building maintenance tasks on campus. This role is designed to cover shifts when staff are unavailable and runs through 6/30/2027 with potential extension.

Ideal candidates bring experience in custodial, housekeeping, groundskeeping or building maintenance, and a can-do attitude. Afternoon and weekend availability is a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months of related work experience.
• Less than High School education.
• Working knowledge of tools used in grounds keeping and custodial tasks.
• Ability to follow written and oral instructions and work with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Performs custodial duties: sweeping, dusting, mopping, disinfecting, cleaning, vacuuming.
• Cleans appliances, surfaces, fixtures using cleaning agents and tools.
• Maintains grounds: trimming, mowing, planting, fertilizing, weeding, spraying, watering.
• Performs building repairs: painting, cleaning, window cleaning, pressure washing, fixture repairs.
• Supports campus operations: moving, event setup, carrying supplies and tools.
• Reports repair and maintenance needs to supervisor; secures work area when leaving.
