Job summary

Providence is seeking a Speech Therapist in Portland, Oregon, who will manage and provide skilled speech/language pathology to patients with diverse diagnoses. The successful candidate will have a Master's Degree or Ph.D. in Speech/Language Pathology and possess an Oregon Speech Language Pathologist License.

Job description

The Speech Therapist manages and provides skilled speech/language pathology to patients/clients with a wide variety of diagnoses and disabilities, taking into account individual patient special physical or age-related needs. Requires skills in patient/client evaluation and treatment, as well as professional consultations to achieve maximum patient/client independence in accordance with individual's functional level and potential.

Required Qualifications
  • Master's Degree from an accredited Speech/Language Pathology Program, or
  • Ph.D. from an accredited Speech/Language Pathology Program, or equivalent education/experience
  • Coursework/Training: Specialized speech/language pathology training to meet a particular department need.
  • Upon hire: Oregon Speech Language Pathologist License
  • Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
  • Occasionally a position will require specialized speech/language pathology experience to meet a particular department need.
