Job summary

The role requires reading blueprints, planning projects, and coordinating with trades teams. A high school diploma and 2–4 years of trades experience are expected, along with a valid Virginia driver’s license and OSHA knowledge.

Qualifications

• Education and experience equivalent to high school graduation, supplemented by vocational coursework.
• 2–4 years of experience performing progressively skilled trades work in carpentry, plumbing, electrical, or related areas.
• Valid driver's license issued by the Commonwealth of Virginia.
• General knowledge of OSHA standards and safety precautions in skilled trades.

Responsibilities

• Perform semi-skilled carpentry tasks including framing, trim work, and building maintenance such as installing partitions and doors.
• Conduct electrical, plumbing, and HVAC tasks including lighting, wiring, troubleshooting, and routine maintenance.
• Respond to calls for service after hours on a rotating basis; work as required during inclement weather.
• Read blueprints and plan projects; estimate time and materials; document work orders and receipts.
