Job summary

Kaiser Permanente Northwest seeks a Radiologic Technologist specialized in MRI to perform diagnostic MRI exams following established protocols at Sunnyside Medical Center in Oregon. You will ensure patient safety, obtain history, prepare the patient, and communicate procedures clearly, including contrast administration and on-call coverage as needed.

Requirements include ARRT MRI certification, Oregon or Washington radiologic license, BLS, and a relevant degree.

Qualifications

• Certified MRI technologist with ARRT MRI certification.
• License to practice radiologic technology in Oregon or Washington.
• BLS certification within 1 month of hire.
• Experience operating MRI equipment and contrast administration.
• Knowledge of infection control and safety guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic MRI examinations following established protocols.
• Maintain patient safety and effective patient communication.
• Venipuncture with contrast administration and injector operation.
• On-call or standby coverage as required.
