Job summary

The Oregon Clinic invites an On-Call MRI Technologist to join our NE Portland Imaging Center. You will provide high-quality diagnostic MRIs, prepare patients, monitor during exams, and support physicians in a fast-paced, patient-focused environment.

This role requires ARRT MR certification, Oregon licensure or eligibility, an associate degree or higher, 2 years MRI experience, CPR/BLS, and Epic/PACS familiarity. On-call days, M-F 6:30am-6:00pm, compensation is hourly.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher required for ARRT certification.
• Must be licensed in the State of Oregon or license eligible.
• Two years MRI experience after ARRT(MR) certification.
• Current CPR/BLS within 60 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provides Radiologists with high-quality diagnostic MRIs according to orders and TOC protocols.
• Prepares patients for imaging examinations and reviews medical records.
• Places IV catheter or butterfly and administers IV contrast.
• Positions patient to ensure high-quality images and monitors patient during exam.
• Operates MRI equipment and adjusts parameters for image quality; contacts radiologist if issues arise.
• Scans paperwork and QA completed images into the PACS system for radiologist review.
• Notifies Manager/Director of deficits or equipment malfunctions and calls service engineer as appropriate.
• Other duties as assigned.
