Cheyenne Mountain Resort, Destination by Hyatt is seeking an on-call Mountain View Restaurant Host for the AM shift in Colorado Springs, CO. The role is hourly/entry level with an on-call/casual framework and a pay rate of $15.45 per hour.

Responsibilities include greeting guests, seating guests, and guiding service flow within the restaurant. Candidates should have prior experience in a guest-facing role, strong communication, and flexibility to work evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a restaurant host/hostess or in a similar guest-facing role.
• A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced environment.
• Refined verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with diverse guests.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

• Address and resolve any guest concerns promptly and professionally.
• Maintain a thorough knowledge of the restaurant's menu, special promotions, and operational details.
• Ensure that the greeter stand is organized and that an adequate stock of backup menus is readily available.
• Ensure that opening and closing greeter checklists and duties are being completed.
• Adhere to all sequence of service steps with a focus on maintaining standards.

The 4-Star Full Service property is nestled in the lush greens of Southern Colorado Springs and oversees Impressive mountain views, along with exciting activities like golf, swimming, and tennis. Position Overview: This is an on call role.Hosts or Greeters are responsible for welcoming and creating the first impression for guests.These individuals have the ability to influence the overall restaurant experience by their interactions that include providing table accommodations and offering menu recommendations. Greeters may be the final point of contact and have the ability to ensure guest satisfaction.If you have worked as a restaurant host or restaurant hostess, your skills are invaluable to this position.
