Job summary

Dane County Medical Examiner’s Office is seeking a Limited Term Employment Morgue Transport Driver to safely transport decedents between facilities in Wisconsin. LTEs are limited to 1,200 hours per payroll year and hours are not guaranteed weekly.

The role involves on-call 12-hour shifts with $50 on-call pay, with additional regular hourly pay for hours worked. Must have a valid driver’s license and high school diploma; background checks may apply.

Qualifications

• Any combination of education, training and experience equivalent to high school graduation.
• Must have (or be eligible for) a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Respond to morgue facilities and death scenes to remove deceased individuals with care and respect.
• Transport decedents to morgue facilities as directed by administrative staff.
