Job summary

Eurofins Scientific is seeking an On Call/Flex Laboratory Assistant (Micro) in Des Moines, IA. This role supports QC testing with flexible noon–8pm hours, 15–20 hours per week, performing sample assays and data entry in a fast-paced environment.

You will follow Quality System documents, maintain records, and help ensure regulatory and ISO17025 standards are met. Applicants should have a high school diploma and basic ISO17025 understanding.

Qualifications

• Basic understanding of ISO17025 guidelines.
• High School diploma with 0-3 years experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist in daily assaying of samples and perform testing from a daily work list.
• Set up and weigh batches of samples.
• Maintain accurate records for quality control tests.
• Prepare solutions for daily testing of designated samples.
• Maintain a clean, safe laboratory and dispose of hazardous waste per procedures.
• Follow Quality System documents (ISO17025, SOPs, Methods).
