Job summary

Fieldstone Memory Care of Yakima is hiring a Dishwasher to maintain cleanliness and sanitation of all dishware and kitchen areas. You will support dining services, assist residents as needed, and ensure a safe, sanitary work environment in a memory care setting.

The role requires reliability, basic kitchen equipment knowledge, ability to work with seniors, and a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of kitchen equipment and safety practices.
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English.
• Meets mandatory health requirements by State regulations.
• Maintains a clean, safe environment for residents, staff and visitors.
• Communicates effectively with residents, families, volunteers and staff.
• Shows compassion and interest in working with seniors.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of dishes, glassware, and utensils.
• Assist residents to dining areas and support serving as needed.
• Operate dishwashing machine and manage prep area cleanliness.
• Monitor sanitizer and dish machine logs for compliance.
• Wipe spills and keep floors dry; ensure safety in kitchen.
• Attend meetings and trainings; perform other duties as assigned.
