Job summary

Ivy Park at Claremont is seeking an On-Call Medication Technician to supervise and assist with medications for residents in accordance with nursing standards and company policies.

The role includes providing personal care, participating in activities, and coordinating with housekeepers and staff to support resident wellbeing. Experience in elder care is preferred; vaccination and background checks may be required.

Qualifications

• Prefer one year of medication assistance in RCFE settings.
• State regulation may require training/certification.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent; LVN is a plus.
• Ability to operate MS Office programs (Word, Excel).
• Desire to care for the elderly and their needs.
• Strong written and verbal communication with staff, physicians, and families.
• Must pass a criminal background check and health screenings.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and distribute medication to residents.
• Coordinate medication services with resident, pharmacy, and physician.
• Order and track all medication changes and deliveries.
• Maintain accurate, confidential resident medication & care records.
• Maintain a safe environment following safety standards.
• Encourage teamwork with coworkers and other departments.
