Job summary

The Springs Beaverton is hiring a on-call Medication Technician/Caregiver in Beaverton, Oregon. This role requires availability to work weekends and holidays with a minimum of one shift per month.

You will administer medications, monitor vital signs, document care, and lead the team on your shift while providing compassionate care to residents. Training and support are provided to succeed in health care careers.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screening.
• A genuine love for seniors and willingness to learn.
• Friendly, observant, flexible, reliable, patient, organized, and helpful.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments or assist residents with self-administration.
• Measure and document vital signs and weight.
• Observe residents for changes or concerns and report to supervisor.
• Communicate with physicians and implement physician orders.
• Document pertinent resident information.
• Lead on-floor and provide team leadership during shift.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Health Services Supervisor.
• Assist residents with daily routines such as bathing, dressing, dining, mobility and personal care.
