Job summary

Oakmont Management Group's Ivy Park at Pleasanton is seeking a part-time Medication Nurse for the PM shift (2pm–10pm). You will supervise and assist with medication administration for residents, maintain medication records, and ensure compliance with company policies.

Responsibilities include dispensing medications, coordinating with physicians and pharmacies, documenting administration, and maintaining secure medication areas.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid California LVN or RN license in good standing.
• Prefer 1 year of experience assisting with medications in a Residential Care Facility for the Elderly (RCFE).
• Knowledge of assisted living and dementia care is a plus.
• Able to interact patiently with seniors and cognitively impaired individuals.
• Must pass background check and health screenings (including TB).

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and perform treatments as ordered by physician.
• Coordinate medication services with residents, pharmacy, and physician.
• Maintain medication room/cart inventory and ensure proper documentation.
• Prepare medications for distribution and assist residents with taking medications.
• Monitor and document medication administration accuracy and refusals.
