Job summary

Ladgov Corporation seeks a Foreign Language Translator/Transcriptionist to support Blanchfield Army Community Hospital and its clinics. The role involves translating between English and foreign languages, preserving meaning and terminology while meeting deadlines and protecting confidentiality.

The translator will handle both written translation and transcription tasks, working on assignments based on Government translation requirements and established deadlines.

Qualifications

• Must be professionally proficient in English and at least one foreign language.
• Experience or training in translation/transcription of medical or administrative material.
• Must maintain confidentiality and comply with translator/interpreter standards.

Responsibilities

• Translate documents from a foreign language into English and vice versa while preserving meaning, terminology, tone and intent.
• Provide translation services for common and uncommon languages as assigned.
• Accurately preserve meaning, terminology, tone and intent of original documents.
• Review translations for accuracy, grammar, consistency and completeness before submission.
• Protect confidential patient, medical and Government information and complete assignments within deadlines.
