Job summary

Ladgov Corporation seeks a Certified American Sign Language (ASL) Interpreter to support Deaf and Hard-of-Hearing patients, employees, and visitors at Blanchfield Army Community Hospital and affiliated clinics. The role includes on-site interpretation and occasional video interpretation to meet communication needs.

The position is on-call/as-needed, primarily during standard operating hours (Monday–Friday, local time).

Qualifications

• Must possess ASL interpreter certification/credentials (RID, NIC, NIC Advanced/Master, CI/CT, CSC, NAD, etc.).
• Strong knowledge of ASL and ability to interpret between spoken English and sign language.
• Professional conduct, confidentiality, and communication skills for a medical environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site ASL interpretation for Deaf and Hard-of-Hearing individuals.
• Provide video remote interpretation when requested.
• Interpret spoken English into ASL, Signed English, or Pidgin Signed English as needed.
• Voice signed communication into spoken English for medical staff and other authorized individuals.
• Maintain confidentiality and accuracy without altering information.
