Applicants should have 3+ years’ experience, strong carpentry/plumbing/electrical skills, and be reliable, organized, and professional. Bilingual abilities are preferred; emergency readiness is expected.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in a similar maintenance role.
• Strong plumbing, electrical and carpentry experience.
• Bilingual is preferred.
• Reliable, organized, detail oriented and professional.
• Able to work during emergencies when needed.
• Good listener and able to transmit information clearly.

Responsibilities

• Ensure preventive maintenance of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing equipment.
• Check boilers and hot water heaters for leaks and report findings.
• Schedule extermination procedures when necessary.
• Maintain social areas and amenities.
• Keep walkways clear and salted in bad weather.
• Inventory maintenance supplies.
• Troubleshoot tripped breakers, leaks, and water intrusion.
• Repair building components including doors and light carpentry.
• Maintain logs and inspect operating equipment (chillers, pumps, fans).
• Inspect rooftop exhaust fans and cooling towers.
• Ensure trash removal and organize trash area.
• Replace light fixtures and outlets as needed.
• Adjust locks, latches on doors/windows/lockers.
• Replace blown light bulbs and plaster as required.
• Maintain daily work records and report external work when needed.
• Assist management with projects and other duties.
