Job summary

COLONIAL PINES is seeking a Maintenance/Service Technician to perform make-ready repairs on vacant units and respond to on-call paging. The role requires HVAC skills with CFC certification and knowledge of SDS/OSHA; plumbing, electrical, and carpentry abilities are a plus.

You will assist various teams and complete work orders promptly while maintaining a safe, organized shop. Experience with emergency shut-offs and utility management is preferred; CPO certification is a plus, and duties may

Qualifications

• HVAC certification required; CFC certification preferred.
• CPO certification preferred.
• Plumbing, electrical, carpentry skills.
• Knowledge of SDS and OSHA.
• 608 Refrigerant Certification preferred, but not required; training available.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs to make-ready units promptly.
• Respond to on-call paging during assigned shifts.
• Assist Service Manager, Housekeeper, Grounds staff as needed.
• Inspect units and coordinate with Service Manager on improvements.
• Complete work orders same-day where possible.
• Maintain clean maintenance shop and safe work environment.
• Know emergency shut-offs and utility cut-offs.
• Provide after-hours on-call on rotation.
• Maintain professional appearance and teamwork.
