Job summary

Reside Living is seeking a Maintenance Technician for the West Loop Chicago property. The role involves maintaining the physical integrity of assigned properties, ensuring residents’ safety and comfort, and assisting the Building Engineer to identify and fix issues promptly.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of experience in a maintenance technician role at a property, hotel, hospital, or similar setting.
• Maintains open communication with internal/external contacts for operations and issue resolution.
• Knowledge of work-safety programs and protocols.
• Detail-oriented with pride in quality of work and a collaborative attitude.

Responsibilities

• Identify building and unit issues and coordinate access/repairs with Building Engineer and vendors.
• Maintain exterior of properties and perform seasonal tasks (e.g., snow removal).
• Complete resident service requests within SLAs and respond to after-hours calls when scheduled.
• Support custodial/grounds work and assist in project-related activities.
