Job summary

Avanti Residential is seeking a Service Technician for Highlands Lodge in Overland Park, KS. You will keep the property in excellent condition, handle move-in readiness, and respond to after-hours emergencies while maintaining clear communication with residents and vendors.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, 1+ years of experience, and a valid driver's license. We offer premium pay for after-hours work, bonuses, apartment discounts, education support, PTO, and a comprehensive benefits

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• 1+ years of relevant experience required.
• OSHA, EPA, and CPO licenses/certifications preferred.
• Must possess valid driver's license and current vehicle insurance.
• Criminal background screening required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare units for move-ins and perform electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and carpentry tasks.
• Complete work orders within 24 hours and report emergencies promptly.
• Provide 24-hour on-call maintenance and respond to after-hours emergencies.
• Handle grounds maintenance and light landscaping where possible.
• Assist with snow removal in specified regions.
