Vesta Management DC LLC is hiring a Maintenance Technician for 800 Southern Avenue Apartment Homes in Washington, DC. You will perform a broad range of maintenance tasks to keep the property safe, attractive, and fully functional, including responding to service requests, completing work orders, and ensuring move-in readiness.

The role requires hands-on skills in plumbing, electrical, carpentry, drywall, flooring, and HVAC (preferred).

Qualifications

• 2+ years of related maintenance experience in an apartment community or property management setting.
• Proficient with general maintenance repairs including drywall, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and HVAC (strongly preferred).
• Strong communication and time-management skills; able to handle on-call duties as required.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance tasks to meet safety, appearance, and operational standards.
• Respond quickly to resident service requests; complete work orders and make-readies.
• Assist with make-ready inspections and unit turnover; may drive a company vehicle.
