Job summary

Masonic Homes of California is seeking a licensed LVN to plan, organize and direct nursing care for residents in a long-term care setting. The role includes medication administration, documentation of treatments, and timely communication with physicians regarding any changes in residents’ condition.

The ideal candidate will hold an LVN license in California, be BLS certified, and have familiarity with federal/state long-term care regulations.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program.
• Currently licensed LVN to practice in California.
• BLS certification required.
• Charge nurse experience preferred.
• Knowledge of federal/state/local long-term care standards.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, implement, direct and evaluate direct nursing care for residents.
• Prepare, deliver and document medications and treatments.
• Document change of condition and other assessments clearly and timely.
• Notify physician and responsible party of changes with proper documentation.
• Adhere to all relevant federal, state and local standards.
• Participate in facility meetings and in-service training.
