Job summary

BrioHealth Solutions is seeking a Field Clinical Engineer to serve as a key technical and clinical resource for BrioHealth's mechanical circulatory support systems during clinical trials and future commercial activities.

You will combine engineering analysis, clinical physiology, and problem-solving to monitor device performance, guide physicians and hospital staff, and support implant procedures and field activities. Travel up to 25% may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering or related field; Master's preferred.
• 2+ years in engineering, clinical, or medical device field.
• Experience interpreting technical system performance data and correlating with clinical conditions.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
• Willingness to participate in a 24/7 on-call schedule and travel up to 25%.

Responsibilities

• Provide remote and on-site technical support for BrioHealth's mechanical circulatory support systems.
• Analyze device logs, alarms, pump waveforms, and performance data.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, and system issues.
• Monitor device performance trends related to patient interaction and pump function.
• Collaborate with R&D to improve system performance and device behavior.
• Document findings, field observations, and product performance data for improvement.
• Support clinical trial activities, including implant procedures and site visits.
• Deliver product training to physicians and clinical staff.
• Support field activities including software updates and site visits as needed.
• Assist with complaint investigations and root-cause analysis.
• Develop deep technical expertise and serve as a product expert.
