Job summary

BiVACOR Inc. seeks a Field Clinical Specialist to support patients receiving the world’s most advanced mechanical circulatory support. You will bridge nursing practice, patient education, and MCS technology at implanting centers.

Role requires RN licensure, 3–5 years in cardiac care, and willingness to travel. You will educate patients, train staff, and collaborate with clinical and engineering teams. BiVACOR offers a comprehensive package and rapid impact in patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with current licensure and nursing degree preferred.
• 3–5 years of experience in cardiac surgery, cardiology, or critical care nursing.
• Prior exposure to mechanical circulatory support (VAD, ECMO, or TAH) is strongly preferred.
• Experience developing and delivering clinical education programs for multidisciplinary audiences.
• Strong communication skills, able to explain complex clinical concepts to patients and teams.
• Willingness to travel regularly to implanting centers; on‑call support possible.
• Experience with LMS platforms or digital learning content development is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized clinical nursing support for patients with mechanical circulatory support.
• Educate patients and families on device management, alarms, and discharge protocols.
• Train nursing staff at implanting centers in MCS patient care competencies.
• Collaborate with clinical and engineering teams to review patient management protocols.
• Participate in patient assessment and post‑operative follow‑up with the medical team.
• Support development of nursing‑focused educational content for LMS.
