Jackson Health System in Miami, FL is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse with 1–3 years of experience to provide advanced practical nursing care in various inpatient/outpatient settings, supporting physicians and RNs.

Responsibilities include patient assessments, medication administration under supervision, documentation, immunizations, phlebotomy aid, IV setup, triage, referrals, and training new staff; requires Florida LPN license and BLS.

Qualifications

Graduation from an accredited LPN program.
1–3 years of related nursing experience.
Florida LPN license required; BLS certification required on hire.

Responsabilités

Interview patients about problems, meds, and allergies and review records.
Inform patients about medical condition and prescribed treatments.
Administer medications under supervision.
Document and establish patient treatment regimens.
Perform immunizations, nebulizer treatments, TB tests, and phlebotomy assistance.
Assist in IV setup and manage IV therapies as directed.
Maintain inventory of supplies and prepare exam rooms.
