Job summary

Body of Soul LMT, a wellness and post-operative recovery studio in Farmington Hills, Michigan, seeks an experienced Michigan-licensed massage therapist with Manual Lymphatic Drainage training for independent-contractor, on-call work. Ideal candidates have post-operative and wellness client experience, strong documentation skills, and strict infection-control practices.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current Michigan Massage Therapy License in good standing.
• Must have completed Manual Lymphatic Drainage training or certification.
• Maintain CPR and First Aid Certification.
• Maintain professional liability insurance.
• Complete HIPAA, Bloodborne Pathogens, and universal precautions training.
• Experience with post-operative or recovery clients preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide Manual Lymphatic Drainage Massage per scope of practice.
• Support clients recovering from procedures (liposuction, tummy tuck, BBL).
• Provide Wood Therapy and Facial Lymphatic Massage when trained.
• Operate Infrared Sauna and Red Light Therapy per BOS procedures.
• Educate clients on aftercare and follow-up within scope.
• Maintain accurate client documentation in Kalix Health or BOS systems.
• Uphold confidentiality, sanitation, and safety standards.
• Maintain a clean, professional service environment.
• Coordinate scheduling and client communication with BOS team.
