Job summary

White River Assisted Living and Memory Care in Wisconsin is seeking a Part-time On-Call Medication Aide to assist in administering medications as prescribed by the attending physician, under supervision.

You will follow facility policies, document administration, verify resident identity, report errors, support QA activities, and collaborate with nursing staff, pharmacists, and physicians to ensure safe, accurate medication passage.

Qualifications

• Must have state-licensed medication aide certification.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to read and interpret medical instructions.
• Excellent documentation and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Follow facility policies and procedures for medication administration.
• Note and report any medication errors.
• Prepare, administer, and document oral/topical medications as ordered.
• Verify resident identity prior to administration of medications.
