Job summary

Lakeview Food Service seeks an on-call kitchen substitute to support the school dining program. Responsibilities include maintaining cleanliness of the kitchen and equipment, proper food storage, and following district policies.

This role requires adherence to safety protocols and the ability to lift items as needed. The position is on an on-call basis with pay reflecting experience, within school operating hours and environment.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of storing of food items and supplies.
• Ability to lift/unload food, dishes, and supplies up to 30 pounds
• Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely
• Good communications skills and the ability to follow verbal and written instructions

Responsibilities

• Assists in routine sanitation of the kitchen and related equipment, including washing dishes, cleaning and maintaining food preparation and storage areas.
• Adheres to all District policies and procedures.
• Observes all safety precautions
