Job summary

A national IT support company is hiring an On-Call IT Field Technician to provide onsite support for PCs, Macs, and printers. This independent contractor role offers flexible scheduling, allowing technicians to accept jobs based on their availability. Ideal candidates have experience in troubleshooting various tech issues and are comfortable working independently. Qualifications

• 2+ years of field IT support experience, including computer and printer work.
• Familiarity with Canon, HP, and other common printer brands.
• Knowledge of error code troubleshooting (e.g., Canon code 1700, boot issues).
• Experience with both Windows (10/11) and macOS troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair hardware/software issues on Windows and macOS systems.
• Resolve boot errors, OS issues, and login problems.
• Set up or troubleshoot Wi-Fi and wired internet connections.
• Communicate clearly with customers and document service visits.
