Job summary

Bridgeway Community Health is seeking an On-Call Licensed Practical Nurse for the NOC shift to join our Medically Managed Withdrawal team. Provides direct nursing care, medication administration, and thorough documentation in an inpatient withdrawal setting.

The ideal candidate will hold a current Oregon LPN license, with at least 1 year of LPN experience preferred; new graduates may be considered. Bilingual stipends and comprehensive benefits are available.

Qualifications

• Graduation from a state-accredited School of Nursing program.
• A current and unencumbered license to practice as a Licensed Professional Nurse in Oregon at time of appointment.
• One year of Licensed Practical Nursing experience preferred; new grads may be considered.
• Any satisfactory equivalent combination of education, training and/or experience relevant to the position.

Responsibilities

• Administers medications and treatments under direction of a nurse practitioner or physician.
• Completes accurate medical documentation including charts and records.
• Conducts nursing assessments for inpatient clients and reports findings to RN or physician.
• Maintains prescription records and adheres to regulatory requirements.
• Coordinates client appointments with physicians and educates clients as directed.
