Job summary

Bridgeway Community Health is hiring a Full-time Licensed Practical Nurse for the NOC shift to join our Medically Managed Withdrawal treatment team. A sign-on bonus of $2,000 is offered for newly hired candidates, with a flexible rotation schedule and competitive wages.

The successful candidate will provide direct nursing care to clients, focusing on health promotion, disease prevention, and individualized treatment in an inpatient withdrawal setting, operating under the Oregon Nurse Practice

Qualifications

• Graduation from a state-accredited School of Nursing program.
• A current and unencumbered license to practice as a Licensed Practical Nurse in the state of Oregon.
• One year of Licensed Practical Nursing experience preferred; may consider new graduates.
• Any satisfactory equivalent combination of education, training and/or experience relevant to the position.

Responsibilities

• Administers medications and performs treatments and procedures under direction of a nurse practitioner or physician.
• Completes accurate and thorough medical documentation and records.
• Conducts nursing assessments on all inpatient clients and documents findings.
• Prepares and dispenses or arranges dispensing of medications and treatments.
• Maintains prescription records and ensures compliance with record-keeping requirements.
• Coordinates client appointments with physicians and communicates plan of care.
• Educates clients on health issues and refers for follow-up as needed.
• Maintains nursing service records and prepares reports.
