On a rotating basis, the technician will be on call and may work weekends as needed. Responsibilities include supervising junior mechanics, coordinating with Energy Management Operators, and ensuring all installations

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma and three years trade experience directly related to HVAC.
• EPA recovery certification may be required for some positions.
• EPA Universal Certification is required.

Aufgaben

• Maintain work area and job site in a clean and orderly manner.
• Supervise mechanics of lower grade and brief supervisor on problems.
• Coordinate repairs and inspections with Energy Management Operator for proper shutdown and startup of HVAC systems.
• Overhaul compressors, condensers and other equipment; diagnose and repair HVAC/refrigeration problems.
• Recharge air conditioning systems with refrigerants and test for proper operation after power failures; calibrate controls.
• Install, repair, and inspect HVAC/refrigeration equipment and related systems (chillers, cooling towers, DX units, motors, pumps, etc.).
