Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent desired.
• Certification preferred.
• Ability to work in conditions where frequent walking, climbing, stooping, bending, lifting and carrying are required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair plant HVAC equipment including air handlers, air conditioners, heating units, and rooftop units.
• Perform regular preventative maintenance on plant chillers and water heaters.
• Requires EPA & CEC certification for refrigerant handling.
• Serve as on-call engineer for HVAC repairs and maintenance.
• Work with vendors to prepare scope and pricing for major O&M and capital projects.
• Communicate daily with plant facilities engineer.
