Job summary

4M Building Solutions, LLC. seeks an HVAC Tech for Janitorial Services to operate, inspect, and maintain HVAC/R and related systems in client facilities.

The role emphasizes proactive repairs, energy efficiency, and meticulous record-keeping to minimize downtime. The position requires hands-on skills in electrical, plumbing, and equipment repair, plus experience with CMMS systems and on-call rotation, with a valid state license and background checks.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Universal CFC recovery certification (or within 90 days of employment)
• Minimum of four (4) years of technical experience in all aspects of building engineering with a strong background in the technical aspects of HVAC/R, plumbing, electrical, and production equipment repair and maintenance. Knowledge of overall system design and applications.
• Experience troubleshooting and maintaining commercial refrigeration and/or supermarket refrigeration.
• Must pass the background check, MVR, and Drug Test.

Responsibilities

• Perform ongoing preventive maintenance and repair work on facility mechanical, electrical, and other installed systems, equipment, and components.
• Maintain, operate, and repair all HVAC/R systems and associated equipment, electrical distribution systems, plumbing systems, and both interior and exterior building repairs, as well as related grounds and production equipment for assigned buildings.
• Study and familiarize yourself with the various items of equipment and the proper methods required for their use in everyday activities.
• Conduct assigned facility inspections and due diligence efforts, reporting on conditions that may impact satisfactory client occupancy and operations.
• Submit P-Card receipts daily.
• Update work order statuses in real time.
• Utilize CMMS systems, such as Corrigo, for all performed work.
• Candidates must possess and maintain a valid state driver's license.
• Must be available for call-in work and perform other duties as required.
