Job summary

Healthcare Services Group, Inc. is seeking a Housekeeper to maintain a clean and safe environment in a long-term care facility. This on-call role guarantees at least one shift per month with opportunities for additional shifts as needed.

The position offers a starting pay of USD $18.05 per hour and a range of benefits. The ideal candidate will perform daily housekeeping duties, adhere to safety and infection control guidelines, and interact positively with residents, staff, and visitors.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required or preferred.
• Previous housekeeping experience is not required but preferred.
• Must maintain a positive attitude and communicate effectively with residents, staff, and guests.
• Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies.
• Must be able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds, stand, walk, and perform routine tasks for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily housekeeping tasks in resident rooms, bathrooms, common areas, and offices.
• Ensure cleaning and sanitation following procedures and safety guidelines.
• Maintain records of cleaning activities and report maintenance or safety issues.
• Follow infection control and universal precautions.
• Provide excellent customer service to residents, staff, and guests.
• All other duties as assigned.
