Job summary

Healthcare Services Group, Inc. is hiring a Housekeeper to maintain a clean and safe environment in a long-term care facility. The role emphasizes excellent customer service and adherence to safety and infection-control procedures.

Starting pay is USD $15.50 per hour with available benefits. Residency within the service area is required and prior housekeeping experience is encouraged but not required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required or preferred.
• A positive attitude and ability to communicate with residents, staff, and guests.
• Ability to follow infection control and universal precautions policies.
• Must be able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily housekeeping tasks, including cleaning resident rooms, bathrooms, common areas, and offices.
• Ensure proper cleaning and sanitation following established procedures and safety guidelines.
• Maintain records of cleaning activities and report maintenance or safety issues to the supervisor.
• Follow infection control and universal precautions policies to ensure a sanitary environment.
• Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests, providing excellent customer service.
• All other duties as assigned.
