Job summary

Healthcare Services Group, Inc. is seeking a Housekeeper to help maintain a clean, safe environment in a long-term care facility. You will perform daily housekeeping tasks and interact positively with residents and staff.

Starting pay is USD 14.00 per hour. This on-site role requires physical stamina, adherence to infection-control policies, and the ability to follow instructions. Benefits and on-the-job training are provided to support your work.

Residency within the service area is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous housekeeping experience is preferred but not required.
• Maintain a positive attitude and effectively communicate with residents and staff.
• Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies.
• Must be able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• Must be able to follow oral and written instructions and perform routine tasks.
• Residency within the service area is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily housekeeping tasks in resident rooms, bathrooms, common areas and offices.
• Ensure cleaning and sanitation follow established procedures and safety guidelines.
• Maintain records of cleaning activities and report maintenance or safety issues.
• Follow infection control policies to uphold a sanitary environment.
• Engage professionally with residents, staff and guests to provide good service.
• Perform any other duties as assigned.
