Cardinal Health, Inc. is seeking a Hospital Pharmacist to provide on-call coverage for hospital pharmacy operations in Puerto Rico. The role emphasizes safe dispensing, patient care, and adherence to hospital protocols.

Qualified candidates hold a Bachelor’s degree in pharmacy, an active Puerto Rico license, and at least 2 years in hospital pharmacy. Fluency in English and Spanish is required to communicate with a diverse clinical team.

Qualifications

• Requires strong people and attention to detail skills.
• Fully bilingual English and Spanish oral and written required.
• PR Active License and Registration required.
• 2+ years of experience in Hospital Pharmacy preferred.

Responsabilités

• Review medical orders and ensure hospital protocol adherence.
• Provide information on drug interactions, dosage, and storage.
• Supervise pharmacy technicians and ensure adequate staffing.
• Maintain accurate records of dispensed medications.
• Provide clinical consultations to physicians and staff to optimize therapy.
• Document pharmaceutical interventions and maintain statistics.
• Adhere to infection control practices and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain competence with Puerto Rico Board regulations and ongoing education.
