Job summary

Hospice of Chattanooga, Inc. is seeking a Full Time On-Call Registered Nurse to provide compassionate end-of-life care and coordinate patient needs. The role covers Dayton, Rhea and Bledsoe counties, with on-call scheduling Friday eve to Monday morning.

You will assess needs, document accurately, and support families while delivering dignified, patient-centered care in the home setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in nursing or healthcare preferred.
• Current unencumbered RN license.
• Minimum one year RN experience in medical-surgical/acute care; hospice a plus.
• Proficiency with EMR and related computer programs.

Responsibilities

• Respond to a variety of patient needs, from urgent to routine, in critical moments.
• Conduct comprehensive assessments of physical, emotional, social, and spiritual needs.
• Maintain accurate documentation in the home health setting and agency records.
• Support families with guidance and reassurance during challenging times.
