Generations Hospice is seeking an On-Call RN to provide compassionate end-of-life care during evenings and overnight shifts across the Wisconsin service area. Travel throughout the territory is required, with a strong emphasis on 1:1 patient support and documentation accuracy.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program with current state licensure.
• One year nursing experience required; 3+ years preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Remote Triage On Call Team to deliver hands-on care during after-hours.
• Assess and manage urgent hospice symptoms quickly and compassionately.
• Administer medications or adjust care per hospice protocols or orders.
• Communicate with the physician regarding changes in condition.
• Provide guidance to patients and families about current condition and next steps.
• Pronounce death during on-call hours, support family, notify hospice team.
• Complete timely documentation and communication.
