Job summary

Three Oaks Hospice is seeking an On-Call Registered Nurse (RN) to provide skilled nursing care during on-call shifts in the St. Louis area.

The role requires coordinating with the interdisciplinary team, supporting patients and families, and maintaining high standards of clinical excellence on 7-on/7-off schedules.

A background in hospice or home health is preferred; CPR certification is required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Associate or bachelor's degree in Nursing
• Current state license as an RN and current state driver's license
• Two years' experience as an RN in a clinical care setting; hospice or home health experience preferred
• Current CPR certification
• Proficient skill using a computer; Microsoft Office suite experience is preferred
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to provide effective support to the patient and family
• Demonstrate skill in nursing practice, ability to cope with family emotional stress and tolerance of individual lifestyles

Responsibilities

• Administer skilled nursing care for clients in their place of residence and coordinate care with the interdisciplinary team
• Coordinate care with patient/family and referring agency; assume responsibility for coordination of care
