Job summary

Heartland Hospice is seeking an On-Call Registered Nurse to provide compassionate hospice care to patients with life-limiting illnesses in homes and facilities. The RN triages after-hours calls, coordinates urgent visits, and develops care plans focused on comfort and dignity.

Responsibilities include pain and symptom management, medication administration, patient and family education, and timely documentation.

Qualifications

• Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) in good standing.
• Experience in hospice or palliative care preferred.
• Ability to triage after-hours calls and travel to patient homes.
