Job summary

Kettering Home Care in Dayton, OH is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join our on-call, full-time team in Kettering. The role covers after-hours nursing in patients' homes, with hours from 5pm to 10pm and on-call 10pm–8:30am.

You must hold a current RN license for Ohio, have at least one year of acute care experience (home care preferred), a valid driver’s license, and a designated home workspace. We offer mileage pay, bonuses, generous benefits, and 401k.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with current license in the state of employment (OH).
• Minimum one-year RN experience in an acute care setting; home care preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and auto insurance in your name.
• Designated home workspace to assist with chart reviews when after-hours are light.
• Capable of all physical demands.

Responsibilities

• Respond to after-hours needs and provide skilled nursing care in patients’ homes.
• Work autonomously and manage time efficiently during shifts.
• Perform duties within the scope of practice as defined by state law.
• If after-hours are light, assist with chart reviews or patient calls from home.
