Job summary

Good Shepherd Community is seeking an On-Call Home Health Aide to support residents in our Assisted Living & Memory Care campuses in Minnesota. You will assist with daily living activities, provide companionship, and help residents stay active and safe during night hours on a weekly rotation.

The role requires caregiving experience and registration or completion of a 75-hour CNA course. On-call benefits include flexible shifts and a supportive, resident-centered team environment.

Qualifications

• At least 6 months of caregiving experience preferred.
• Must be active on the Minnesota Nursing Assistant Registry or have a completed 75-hour Nursing Assistant course.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with bathing, grooming, toileting, and dressing.
• Provide companionship and engage residents in leisure activities.
• Assist with ambulation, transfers, and exercise.
• Assist with medication administration under RN supervision and document in EMAR.
• Report changes to the RN promptly and perform light housekeeping.
