BrightStar Care in Northwest Columbus, OH is seeking a dependable On-Call Home Health Aide (HHA/STNA) to support clients in their homes. This role offers a flat hourly on-call rate plus additional pay for shifts actually worked.
You will assist with activities of daily living, ensure a safe home environment, follow care plans, and coordinate with supervisors. A current HHA/STNA certification and at least one year of home care experience are required; valid driver’s license and reliable transport
Competenze
- HHA/STNA certification required
- 1 year of home care experience
- Driver's license and reliable transportation
- Background check and drug screening clearance
- Ability to work independently
- Hoyer lift experience is a plus
- Must be able to assist with client transfers
Mansioni
- Assist with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, and toileting
- Provide mobility assistance and ensure a safe home environment
- Perform light housekeeping and meal preparation
- Monitor client condition and report changes to supervisors
- Follow client care plans and documentation procedures
- Transport clients when necessary
- Comfortable working with pets
